How we became...​

 

Brandan Computer Systems Limited was founded in 2001 by Brandan Dobbs to address what he saw was a growing need in South Devon for high quality professional IT and computer support consultancy services.

 

The name of Brandan was chosen for our IT Support company both because its founder was already well known in the Devon locality for his systems expertise and because the unusual spelling of Brandan presented a distinguishing quality.

 

Brandan Dobbs himself has been working in IT and with computers since leaving school in 1992 in a career that has taken him round the world. His IT consultancy work has involved solving complex problems and implementing multiplatform systems for a wide range of different businesses based in locations from the UK and Europe to North America.

 

This Devon based IT support consultancy is driven by a strong team of experienced professionals, selected for their engineering skills and knowledge rather than sales orientation. As computer specialists working in the field, they have a thorough understanding of how system solutions can best be deployed to address specific business needs — without resorting to technical jargon in order to make the point.

We do spend a lot of time researching.  We have a hunger to know whats new in our industry, which as you can imagine, ever evolving.  We are always keen to find out and sometimes even help in devolping new methods of improving the way we use IT and how we can support it.

 

We try things out, take them apart, see how they work.  Think about how this can help someone.  And if we approve, happily share our findings with clients and even competitors.  This is important in many ways like keeping on top of whats out there but we also enjoy doing it.
